Beginner Guides

These guides are intended for the beginner programmer and for people who are new to using JavaScript for basic web programming. A good place to start is the Programming Environment Setup, as that shows some options for setting up your computer to do the lessons. If you don’t have a relatively modern computer running Windows 11, Mac OSX, or Linux, don’t worry. The beginning of that guide shows how to make use of StackBlitz. StackBlitz will allow you to do the lessons online, and so if you have a Chromebook or even an Android tablet you can do the lessons. For the Android tablet, you need to have a keyboard.
