Beginner Module

This is intended for people who are beginners at JavaScript programming or even new to programming in general. There are 8 Guides and 10 Lessons in this module as of 12/21/2025. I hope to post more lessons in the near future. When I post new lessons, I will post this in the Site background module, on the Updates page.

It is a good idea to go through the lessons in order, as they do build upon one another. Good guides to look at before getting started would be:

The first link discusses how to get started if your computer can’t be used for web programming. This could be the case if you have a tablet computer or a low end Chromebook. This is not an ideal way to learn about web programming, and is limited to those who have a Google or GitHub account.

The second link describes setting up your computer to use for these set of lessons. So, if you have a computer running Windows 11, Mac OSX or Linux, this page will discuss ways to set those computers up.
